If all babies go to heaven when they die, then wouldn’t you be altruistic by aborting them? If you abort a baby, you remove all chances that they will sin, thus sending them to heaven. You may go to hell, but by going to hell you ensure that all the babies you kill will go to heaven.
What are your thoughts? I know some people think you can’t be saved unless you are baptized, or accept Jesus, or any number of other ways, so just imagine killing the baby or the person right after they are “good to go” for heaven.

I’m just curious how other people do this or if there is even a decision at all. My husband and I have two totally different ideas of parenting but somehow we do pretty good together through compromise and strategy.
So, how do you make parenting decisions? Does one person do the majority of the parenting? Do you even discuss parenting with your significant? I’m just curious! Thanks!

Obesity is defined as an excessive accumulation of body fat. Obesity is present when total body weight is more than 25 percent fat in boys and more than 32 percent fat in girls. There are various medicines like Phentermine, Adipex etc. which aid in the weight loss for adults but these medicines are definitely not meant for children.Causes of Childhood Obesity:- Family: A child whose both parents are obese has a higher chance of developing obesity as compared to other children. This can happen for a variety of reasons like genetic factors or may be the sedentary lifestyle of the parents or the lack of exercise in their daily routine. This can make the child born with obesity.- Inactive Life: Children these days spend more of their time on playing video games and watching T.V. This has prevented the children of today to engage in some healthy ground activities like sports. Hence children are gradually becoming couch potatoes. Leading an inactive life has made them grow into an obese from just being overweight.- Heredity: Since not all children leading a sedentary lifestyle, watching more of television, and eating just about anything does not make every child obese therefore researchers are working upon the reasons that why it is so. Heredity has recently been shown to influence fatness, regional fat distribution, and response to overfeeding. In addition, infants born to overweight mothers have been found to be less active and to gain more weight by age three months when compared with infants of normal weight mothers, suggesting a possible inborn drive to conserve energy.- Lower income and education levels correlate to lower physical exercise levels in developed countries.- Television advertising of food and beverages directed towards children are usually for products that are high in calories, sugar, sodium, and fat.Being overweight can cause: 1.?? ?Low self-esteem and bullying 2.?? ?Behavior and learning problems 3.?? ?Stress and anxiety 4.?? ?Comfort eating 5.?? ?Depression 6.?? ?Type 2 diabetes 7.?? ?High blood pressure 8.?? ?Asthma and other respiratory problems 9.?? ?Sleep disorders 10.?? ?Liver disease 11.?? ?Early puberty 12.?? ?Eating disorders Prevention of Childhood Obesity: Obesity is easier to prevent than to treat, and prevention focuses in large measure on parent education. In infancy, parent education should center on promotion of breastfeeding, recognition of signals of satiety, and delayed introduction of solid foods. In early childhood, education should include proper nutrition, selection of low-fat snacks, good exercise/activity habits, and monitoring of television viewing. In cases where preventive measures cannot totally overcome the influence of hereditary factors, parent education should focus on building self-esteem and address psychological issues. Childhood obesity is an increasingly difficult problem. Action, if taken early, can change the outcome for obese children or even prevent it happening in the first place. An appropriate exercise problem is one tool that can alter the outcome for such children.
I found out that the long-term effects of these prescription drugs for ADHD treatment for children have not even been determined yet! That means we are giving our children drugs we really don’t know what effect they will have on them later in life. And to top it off, most Psychiatrists’ drug of choice for ADHD treatment are the Psycho-stimulants that not only have harsh side effects but only treat the symptoms, not the problem.
Here are some of the reasons I found why you should probably consider natural remedies for ADHD treatment over these Psycho-stimulant prescription drugs.
ADHD medications can suppress your child’s personality while being effective in getting rid of the symptoms. Based on ADHD research these medications can change the way your child’s brain operates so the ideas, impulses and creativity that are natural to your child, are suppressed along with the symptoms. Natural ADHD treatments will enhance your child’s creativity and personality by restoring balance in your child’s overall heath and well-being.
Some of the common side effects of prescription drugs for ADHD treatment according to ADHD facts are anxiety, nervousness, dizziness, severe headache, stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, unusually fast heartbeat, blurred vision, anemia, insomnia, anorexia, hair loss and allergic reactions that include troubled breathing. With Natural ADHD remedies the symptoms will alleviate without causing any side effects or comprising your child’s health. ADHD remedies are non-addictive and 100% safe for your child.
I have also determined that ADHD treatments with prescription drugs should be a last resort for parents to consider because the long-term effects are unknown. Scary, right? Especially since the recently discovered ADHD facts about long-term use of prescription drugs are that it can lead to depression and other psychological issues in adulthood. ?
Further ADHD research showed me that substance abuse problems and prescription drug addictions in adults are more common in people who took mind-alternating drugs like ADHD medications as children. And the ADHD facts I found show that prescription medications are highly addictive and may cause dependency. Again, you can rest assured that with a holistic approach ADHD remedies are non-addictive and 100% safe for your child.
Finally, according to further ADHD research, just in the United States alone, billions of dollars are spent annually on prescription medications for ADHD. ADHD medication prescriptions can have a negative impact on your family’s finances. Where natural treatment for ADHD is highly effective and very affordable.
For your child’s sake, look at a homeopathic remedy for ADHD so you can safely and effectively treat ADHD symptoms like hyperactivity, erratic behavior and lack of concentration without putting their health at risk now, and in the future.
Choose your baby furniture that is safe, secure and easy to accommodate in your house. Here I am with some market research to help you prepare a list of baby furniture required by new parents to be.
Here I am with some market research to help you prepare a list of baby furniture required by new parents to be.
Baby changing stations or tables: A must have in every house where you have growing infants. A baby changing station provides a hygienic plane to change baby diapers. Buy a baby changing station that has an adjustable height and is made up of safe plastic, wood or metal with no sharp edges. Check for the protection barriers like safety belts and high end surroundings etc. Baby changing stations can be mounted or recessed in the walls. Thus the installation will not occupy much of your room space.
Diaper Packs: Choose a diaper changing pad which could be protective and padded properly. In my opinion and market research I would suggest you to go for Koala Diaper Packs. These diaper packs include sanitary bed liner, a diaper, a diaper wipe and a disposable bag to dispose off everything in.
Baby crib: Select a baby crib that is strong and durable. Cribs could be standard ones, or ones which look cradles having a rocking motion to put baby to sleep comfortably. You will find some expensive options too like a convertible one, one with a baby changing station too or beautiful fabric canopy themed cribs. Make sure that whichever you choose, it should have smooth edges and gives you freedom to clean its every corner.
Highchairs: High chairs are a necessity to teach the baby to eat. Look out for seamless designs that eliminate the possibility of trapped food and have a removable tray to facilitate cleaning. Such high chairs minimize the potential for bacteria growth and are much safer for your child?s hygiene. Another aspect to check is its durability; an ideal baby high chair is the one which is durable and does not shudder or wobble. It is better to buy a branded baby high chair from a reputed baby furniture industry. Your best bet is to buy a high chair having adjustable shoulder straps and a safety belt to hold the baby safely.
There are many other important furniture essentials that you should include in your list. I will discuss them in my next writing. But most important ones like baby changing stations and baby cribs are the bare necessities that should be present while bringing the new baby home.

What to Expect started with information–or, actually, lack of information. In fact, when I found out I was expecting for the first time–I didn’t have the slightest idea of what to expect. And back then, it wasn’t as easy to find out what to expect as you’d think. I created What to Expect When You’re Expecting because I couldn’t find the answers to my questions or the reassurance for my worries that I was searching for in the pregnancy books I read (and believe me, I read plenty). I was a mom on a mission–a mission to help other moms and dads worry less and enjoy their pregnancies (and their babies, and their toddlers) more. And I’ve been on that mission ever since.
So what sent me back to recreate What to Expect–for a fourth time? Today, there’s definitely no lack of information on pregnancy. In fact there’s more information than ever before (a quick online search of pregnancy or a glance at pages and pages of pregnancy and parenting options right here on Amazon will clue you in on that). But often what’s still hard to find is the right kind of information. Information that’s accurate yet empathetic, reassuring yet realistic–that empowers you, but doesn’t overwhelm or confuse you, that guides you but doesn’t dictate to you. And it’s not just about the right information, it’s about information that’s presented in the way that’s most helpful–easy to access, easy to digest, easy to use. It’s about information that makes your pregnant life less stressful–more enjoyable, and, well, easier.
The fourth edition is a new What To Expect for a new generation of readers–you!–and I’m excited to say it’s the best What To Expect yet. It’s packed with all new information, of course (since things tend to change quickly in the baby-making and baby-delivering business–something you’re probably all too aware of already if you’ve made more than one trip to the birthing room). But it doesn’t only take into account what’s new in obstetrics and what’s new in pregnancy; it takes into account what’s relevant to pregnant women now. Lifestyle. Working. Eating on the run. Juggling the pregnant life with real life. Keeping up with relationships. Birthing options that are family friendly and pregnancy care that incorporates the best that complimentary and alternative medicine has to offer. Managing multiples (which more and more moms are carrying). Sorting out the information from the misinformation–the reality from the hype, fact from Internet legend.
The fourth edition also takes into account how you likely use books these days, so the format is even more accessible than ever. More geared to in-the-moment, find-it-in-a-flash reading.
Most important of all, the fourth edition celebrates pregnancy. I have a passion for pregnancy, and always have. I love moms, I love dads, and I love babies. But everything about this fourth edition from the happy, excited mom-to-be on the cover, proudly caressing her beautiful belly and its even more beautiful contents, to the adorable week-by-week description of the making of your baby, to the positive (yet realistic), mom-to-mom tone throughout–this fourth edition is not just an explanation of those 9 amazing (though often bewildering) months you have ahead of you. It’s a celebration of them.
What to Expect When You’re Expecting fourth edition is everything moms and dads have come to expect from What to Expect… only better. And I can’t wait to start sharing it with you.
I guess you can say–I’m a proud mama all over again.
–Heidi Murkoff

How many parents have found themselves thinking: I can’t believe I just said to my child the very thing my parents used to say to me! Am I just destined to repeat the mistakes of my parents? In Parenting from the Inside Out, child psychiatrist Daniel J. Siegel, M.D., and early childhood expert Mary Hartzell, M.Ed., explore the extent to which our childhood experiences actually do shape the way we parent. Drawing upon stunning new findings in neurobiology and attachment research, they explain how interpersonal relationships directly impact the development of the brain, and offer parents a step-by-step approach to forming a deeper understanding of their own life stories, which will help them raise compassionate and resilient children.
Born out of a series of parents’ workshops that combined Siegel’s cutting-edge research on how communication impacts brain development with Hartzell’s thirty years of experience as a child-development specialist and parent educator, Parenting from the Inside Out guides parents through creating the necessary foundations for loving and secure relationships with their children.
Our rabbit had five babies together, all in the nest box. Four of the babies are staying together in the next box, in the hollow dug out by their mom, but one baby keeps crawling out and across the nest box, away from the other babies. How to I keep them together?
