How Old Are Babies Usually When They Start To Raise Their Arms Up?

We always say “up” when we pick up the LO so maybe she would start to learn the word meant getting picked up, but she (well, they) are only 4 months old and was wondering when do babies start to raise their arms up as if to say ‘pick me up’? Was it awsome the first time your baby did that? Thanx!
